Organizing Chrome Tabs

Modified on Tue, Oct 1, 2024 at 9:04 AM

We have the laptops setup to request a restart every 5 days. It's not good for the computers not to be restarted every week. They need to receive updates etc. You can set your chrome tabs to open where you left off. Follow these direction.

In the top right hand corner next to the circle with your initial in it you will see three dots
1. Click those three dots
2.  Go to Settings
3. On the left hand menu to do On start up
4. Choose Continue Where you left off

This will allow the tabs to reopen

You can also group tabs by following these directions:
  1. Right-click a tab.
  2. Click Add Tab to new group.
  3. Click New Group or click the name of an existing tab group
If you accidentally close tabs and want to reopen them feel free to use this command

Cmd + Shift + T (Mac)  it will reopen them for you
